Rev. Elizabeth Schultz
EXECUTIVE PRESBYTER
ep@yukonpres.orgRev. Elizabeth Schultz has been an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament in the PCUSA since 2006. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Juniata College and a Master of Divinity from Princeton Seminary.
Elizabeth began her ministry career as a campus minister in Pennsylvania before moving to Anchorage, Alaska in 1997 to serve as the Co-Director of Youth Ministries with her husband, Matt Schultz. From Alaska, she followed the call to seminary and to various calls in vocational ministry, working in a validated ministry call in community mission and as an Associate Pastor, focusing on youth and families, community outreach, and national and international service opportunities.
Elizabeth served as the Community and Nonprofit Liaison for Governor Bill Walker from 2014 to 2018 and then as a Community Relations Manager for a local nonprofit until 2023, while also serving as a Parish Associate and Member at Large within the Presbytery of Yukon.
Elizabeth and Matt are the proud parents of three children and love to call Alaska home!

Doreen McNeill
STATED CLERK
statedclerk@yukonpres.orgDoreen McNeill has been Stated Clerk for the Presbytery of Yukon since 2022. She has lived in Alaska since 1989 and resides near North Pole with her husband, Curtis. They are members of University Community Presbyterian Church in Fairbanks.
In 2021, Doreen retired from a 26-year career as a Wildlife Biologist for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Besides travelling around Interior Alaska, Doreen’s job was to understand and interpret regulations, explain meeting results, keep track of many deadlines, and write reports.
After many years of ski-joring with sled dogs, Doreen now has a mini Schnauzer. In her spare time, Doreen likes to hunt, fish, camp, and garden and is learning basic woodworking and home improvement.

Adam Lees
ADMINISTRATOR OF FINANCE AND OPERATIONS
adminfin@yukonpres.orgAdam joined the Presbytery staff in 2024. He came to Alaska by way of Florida and Virginia over a decade ago for a temporary job and has called the state home ever since. He currently attends St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Anchorage.
The Swiss Army knife of the office, Adam holds an MA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Virginia Theological Seminary. He brings experience in banking and financial services, politics, community organizing and activism, government, law, and teaching as well as (obviously) church.
When he is not doing homework for his current degree program or jumping onto planes to go just about anywhere, he enjoys exercising, spending lots of time with friends, cooking, video games, and anything Star Wars. He is also working on improving his hunting, fishing, and skiing skills.
